Worthing Pub History is a real goldmine of interesting facts and photos, recording the history of many past and present Worthing pubs, inns, bars, and breweries. Not only Worthing but the pub history of Ferring, Findon, Lancing and Sompting, Littlehampton, and Shoreham are also recorded in this survey of an aspect of our social history.
Situated in Broadwater, Worthing, you can now step back in time and experience the traditional sweet shop that our ancestors would have known so well. An extensive range of retro, classic, and modern confectionary for all tastes - and nothing pre-packed in plastic bags!

Bignor Roman Villa was a home and farm for a wealthy family, the earliest structures were timber framed buildings built in the West Wing dated at 250AD. The mosaics at Bignor are some of the best ever found and it is one of the biggest sites discovered in Great Britain.
