Whilst every care has been taken in the transcriptions of the Parish Registers, Monumental Transcriptions, Churchyard Plans, Photographic Images of Monuments, Churchyards, Headstones and Monuments James Brockhurst Publications shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for consequential or other costs, even if they have been made aware of such losses. Such losses may include, but not be limited to, loss of revenue, time or data, whether supplied or not.

Your use of this site, placement of an order or submittal of a purchase order indicates acceptance of customer service policies and terms and conditions of James Brockhurst Publications. Your statutory rights are not affected. James Brockhurst Publications offers an exchange policy on any faulty goods.

By purchase of JBP products you have not acquired title or ownership of software materials contained on our Genealogy Resource products, packaging or documentation. This Licence grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software and documentation. No part of our Genealogy Resource products, software, documentation or packaging may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored in a retrieval system in any form by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, except in its original format, without prior written consent.

This licence entitles use of the software contained on each Genealogy Resource product and related documentation. This licence permits an unlimited number of users on a single site to access the information at any given time. The software or documentation may not be rented or leased or used for any other form of remunerated gain.

James Brockhurst Publications shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for consequential or other costs, even if they have been made aware of such losses. Such losses may include, but not be limited to, loss of revenue, time or data. James Brockhurst Publications holds copyright on software, documentation and packaging. This licence is governed by the laws of England and Wales. This copyright is not intended to restrict your personal use. You may print, photocopy or download portions of data for private research and study, or to include in your personal family history. If you would like to include portions of the data in any publication, website, or software, in the first instance contact should be made with James Brockhurst Publications. We reeserve the right to amend the terms and conditions.

Payment methods for CD-Books and Download Transcriptions.
a) Payment can be made by cheque, or postal order to the above address. Remittance should be made payable in Uk Sterling to "James Brockhurst Publications" together with your requirements, name and address. Acknowlegement sent with order or in advance via your email address.
b) Online via paypal. An acknowledgement is automatically sent. In all cases, orders are generally mailed within seven working days depending on items ordered.

Delivery policy
Subject to availability, all orders are normally despatched within 2 business days by Royal Mail 1st class to UK postal addresses or via air mail for overseas orders. Estimated delivery times are 1-2 business days (UK), 3-5 business days (Europe) or 5-10 days (rest of world). Delivery times cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to delay due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of an order not being delivered within: 7 business days (UK), 14 business days (Europe), 21 business days (Rest of World), please contact James Brockhurst Publications via the email address or postal address given above.

Returns policy
All of our CD-Books are manufactured to order and we believe that you have sufficient opportunity, prior to placing an order, to confirm both quality and content of our products. Due to this, and the fact that our products can be easily copied, we only accept returns in the following circumstances:

1. There is a fault with any of our CD-Books and it fails to function correctly upon receipt, we offer an exchange policy for the same title. We may require the item to be returned to us at the address stated above and we reserve the right to test the item. If found to be faulty, we will replace it free of charge. If we can find nothing wrong with the item then it will be returned to you.
 
2. The CD-Book(s) arrived in a damaged condition. Items should be returned to us and once received, we will issue replacement of the same title(s).

In both cases you should contact us immediately via the email address or postal address given above.

Cancellation Rights
Should you wish to return the CD-Book(s) for any other reason then in line with United Kingdom Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, CD-Books will only be accepted provided you inform us of this decision within 7 working days from receipt, provided the seals are not broken and any item are returned in "as new" condition. Customers are responsible for return postage, and an administration fee of £2.50 will be charged. For your protection, you are advised to use a recorded delivery service. You may cancel your order before delivery or within 7 working days beginning the day after the date of delivery, to the email address or postal address given above. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Exemptions
Please note that on-line delivery is not subject to the cancellation rights detailed above.
