You will not find this parish on a modern map of Sussex, the church of St. Peter now in use as the chapel of Seaford College. The settlement, now shown on modern maps as East Lavington has existed since before the Domesday, the parish register commenced in 1571. All Baptisms, Banns of Marriages (from 1763), Marriages, and Burials to 1910 are included together with 87 photographic images from the original registers, and 50 views of the church and churchyard memorials and a churchyard plan are included.
