JBP WSRO Par 116 KIRDFORD Volumes 1 to 3

Once the largest parish in England, Kirdford still remains the largest parish in West Sussex. This three volume CD set contains a transcription of the first six parish register books, listing all events from 1558 (marriages), 1571 (baptisms), 1587 (burials) up to 1812. Coupled with this are no less than 630 photographic images of the original register pages. Baptism records for the years 1625 to 1661 do not exist in the originals registers but partial restoration between 1630 and 1641 has been achieved by adding records from the existing Bishop`s transcripts.

The six parish register books are conveniently paired on three CD-Books, containing the following records:

Vol. 2: Baptisms and Burials 1748 to 1791
  Banns and Marriages 1748 to 1788
Vol. 3: Baptisms and Burials, 1792-1812
  Banns and Marriages, 1788 to 1812
